Get Involved

Are you a glass sibling? We'd love for you to get involved!
We hold our meetings on the first Tuesday of every month, excluding July and August. Meetings are held in person at The Arc of Union County (1181 Route 22 East, Mountainside), but a virtual option is available. You must be registered in order to attend in person or virtually.

Advocacy in Action
Support Our Siblings is currently leading two advocacy campaigns that center the voices of siblings of individuals with disabilities and drive greater awareness, understanding, and inclusion.
Through Our Eyes
Through Our Eyes is a storytelling initiative that invites teens to share their lived experiences growing up with a disabled sibling. These stories highlight important themes like inclusion, misunderstanding, and the realities of sibling support, and will be shared through social media, educational spaces, and a digital publication for educators and policymakers.
One Anonymous Question
One Anonymous Question offers a simple but powerful way to be heard. Siblings are invited to anonymously share one thing they wish their parents understood about their experience, helping bring visibility to often overlooked perspectives.
