Our Mission
We are dedicated to connecting glass siblings- siblings of individuals with disabilities- with one another, providing a space for mutual support, shared experiences, and solidarity. Our mission is to uplift, protect, and advocate for our disabled brothers and sisters by using our unique perspective to drive meaningful change. We stand united to champion their rights, amplify their needs, and shape a more inclusive world. We are the voices behind the scenes- the siblings, the silent advocates, the glass children who see and feel deeply.
By partnering with organizations that craft and advance legislation for individuals with disabilities, we bring lived experience to policy and progress. We commit to bridging families, lawmakers, and communities to ensure that every child with a disability is seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.

About Us
We’re high school and middle school students who are siblings of individuals with disabilities- often called “glass children.” At Support Our Siblings (SOS), we create a compassionate, inclusive space where these siblings are truly seen, supported, and connected.
But SOS is more than a support group. We also believe that glass children have a unique and powerful role to play in the disability rights movement. Because we live it- at home, in school, and in our communities- we advocate with insight, empathy, and urgency for our siblings and for broader change.
Through community, emotional support, and advocacy, we shine a light on the challenges and strengths of being a sibling of someone with a disability- and turn that experience into connection, leadership, and action.
